ABSTRACT: Early childhood education (ECE) plays a pivotal role in nurturing curiosity-driven learning among young children, essential for cognitive and intellectual development. This study investigates how ECE programs influence curiosity-driven learning behaviors in preschool-aged children. The objectives are to (1) assess the impact of ECE on children's curiosity levels and exploration behaviors, (2) evaluate the integration of curiosity-driven learning activities in ECE curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's engagement and inquiry skills. A survey design is justified to capture quantitative data on curiosity levels and qualitative insights into learning behaviors. A purposive sample of 130 children  from preschools in Enugu State was selected. The case study focuses on preschools known for their innovative approaches to fostering curiosity-driven learning. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's curiosity levels, effective integration of curiosity-driven activities, and enhanced engagement in learning. Recommendations include enhancing ECE curricula with inquiry-based learning strategies and supporting educators in promoting curiosity and exploration among young learners.
